Most newly licensed agents and residential agents think they need to pump their 'circle of influence' about intentions to buy or sell a home in the next 3 months;  that this is how it's supposed to begin.  Not the case. Business sales allows you to make as much & even more money while enjoying a work schedule that reflects business hours with far less evenings and weekends. Does this sound appealing? Lately the subject of Fee-For-Service real estate companies is getting more coverage.  Many operate under a number of clever monikers that describe their service (which are all simply geared to help a homeowner sell their home themselves to save realtor commissions).  

We're OK with Fee-For-Service.  If homeowners want to try it themselves, we're happy to help.  (And if they succeed, we're the first to congratulate them).  If they want us to offer more services, we'll do it, to whatever extent they require, from 'holding their hand' to a full listing.  

The consumer has a right to get enough information to make their own informed decision (not the one WE think they should make).  Once they decide, they will act, and we're happy to be there, knowing that as professionals, we can deliver with the assurance we will be compensated accordingly.  As an agent, you also have the right to the same flexibility being the service provider.
